About Bennetts

Bennetts Coaches is a privately owned company with over 45 years service within Gloucestershire. Easily recognisable by our modern fleet of coaches, we are proud to have served the community for many years. The company has grown to achieving an enviable reputation within Gloucestershire for providing a reliable and efficient service to all of our customers.

We take pride in the knowledge that we are local to Gloucestershire and provide many services to the community at large.

We currently operate a fleet of coaches, buses and double deckers. All of these are maintained to high standards at our own depot on Eastern Avenue.

Bennetts Coaches employ just under fifty full time and part – time staff. A high percentage of our staff have been working for Bennetts Coaches for most of their working lives. Loyalty of staff is important to us and enables us to give consistency in the use of drivers and the relationships that are made through all of our business activities.

We currently operate the two main Park and Ride Operations within Cheltenham and Gloucestershire carrying over 30,000 passengers per month. We have a wide experience of how to ensure all of our customers get a fantastic service every time they step on board one of our buses or coaches.

Contractors Health and Safety Scheme

We are the only operator to have been accredited with this award, which was a directive issued by Gloucestershire County Council. It confirms that we have competent Health and Safety measures throughout our business.

Approved Driver Training Centre

The only Operator in Gloucestershire who have been approved by the Driving Standards Authority (DSA) and Driver and Vehicle Agency to train our drivers in line with the new regulations regarding driving standards.

Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT)

We are an active member of the trade organisation and as such acknowledged as a bona-fide operator.
